هذه بعض ابيات الشعر للامام الشافعي رحمه الله عن القناعه
وما احوجنا للقناعه هذه الايام كي نعيش مرتاحين ومطمئنين


القناعه

رأيت القناعة رأس الغنى فصرت بأذيالها متمسك
فلا ذا يرانى على بابة ولاذا يرانى به منهمك
فصرت غنيا بلا درهم امر على الناس شبة الملك
